This is really cool. The other day I went to run nmap not realizing I hadn’t yet installed it on my current build (Ubuntu Feisty). I typed “nmap” at the prompt and the following appeared.
Pretty damn cool…
I Just recently installed the beta version of Ubuntu Feisty Fawn (which is running perfectly by the way) and found that they have added the option to install restricted drivers. I’ve attached a screenshot below. Regardless of what side of the fence you are on concerning restricted and close sourced drivers, this seems to be a pretty good way of dealing with the issue.
